Founded by Ashley Reid, a proud Wangkatha Ngadju man from Western Australia, Yuwa Consultancy is built on a career dedicated to strengthening opportunities and outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.
Across the Australian Army, child protection, workforce development and Aboriginal engagement, Ashley has remained driven by a single purpose of empowering Aboriginal people to lead with confidence while staying connected to their culture, identity and community.
Yuwa Consultancy was born following the launch of Ashley's Aboriginal-designed STRONG Framework at the 2026 AIATSIS Summit. Presented through his keynote, Walking in Two Worlds: Leadership, Identity and Purpose, the framework resonated with Elders, educators, community members and organisational leaders, highlighting a growing need for leadership and cultural capability that begins with the individual.
Today, Yuwa Consultancy brings together the STRONG Framework and Ashley's lived and professional experience to deliver services that empower Aboriginal people to thrive while helping organisations build more culturally capable and inclusive workplaces.
